There is an option in the theme which allows you to delete existing measurements, and add your own. Below are multiple examples on how to do both tasks.

Removing Measurements

To remove measurements, Cooked plugin requires that the measurement you are trying to remove be in the singular form. Example: instead of cups, you need to use cup otherwise the cooked plugin won’t be able to find the measurement you are trying to remove.

So let’s say we want to remove g – oz – cups and tbsp from our measurements:

Make sure you also don’t add any spaces in between the commas.

Adding Measurements

To add a measurement, you have to fill in 4 fields. In this example we are going to add 2 measurements, tons and newtons

As you can see, we have 4 fields, and we added 2 measurements:

  1. Singular Abbreviation: mg – ton – kg – ml
  2. Plural abbreviations: mgs – tons – kgs – mls
  3. Singular Name: Milligram – Ton – Kilogram – Milliliter
  4. Plural Name: Milligrams – Tons – Kilograms – Milliliters

One you save your changes:
